CancerUs version 10, is an original piece of digital art created by Eco-Artist John K Melvin. Its inspired by 21st century awareness of extinction, climate, and symbiosis. Part of its inspiration came from a year of work where the artist spent many trips “commuting” from Mill Valley, California to Tucson, Arizona, and the exposure of landscape, billboards, and traffic. The digital art image is connected to a larger body of work, CanCerUs, that composes a wide range of installations, sculptures, drawings, and prints. The image is black and white, and would grace any collection.
The print is 81.62 x 46.78 cm including a 3cm border for mounting.
1st Edition is limited to 50. Each limited-edition print ships with an artist signed certificate of edition, and each print has a custom embossed artist signature on the lower right border of the print. These two forms of certification create a truly unique piece of art for any collection. The artist suggests it be displayed with a 2-inch archival white window mat framing the print just beyond the embossed signature, and all enclosed in a low profile matte black studio frame with UV glass or acrylic glazing.
