Curbing Entropy

Original photograph by Eco-Artist John K Melvin.  Photograph is of a temporary site specific sculpture by the artist installed at 1961 Gallery in Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2017.  The sculpture was inspired by the artist’s research into plastic pollution awareness campaigns, and chose this method to instigate dialog.  The project was successfully installed at three locations, including the Siem Reap International Airport Arrivals section.  The sculpture was responsibly recycled at the end of the three exhibitions and no longer exists.

The image is 24.3 x 26 cm plus a 3cm border for mounting.

1st Edition is limited to 25.  Each limited-edition print ships with a signed certificate of edition, and each print has a custom embossed artist signature on the lower right border of the print. These two forms of certification create a truly unique piece of art for any collection.  The artist suggests it be displayed with a 2-inch archival white window mat framing the print just beyond the embossed signature, and all enclosed in a low profile matte black studio frame with UV glass or acrylic glazing.
