In the spring of 2007, the artist was selected to begin working collaboratively with the San Francisco Arts Commission and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Natural Areas Program. Thus began a nearly two-year collaboration with the diverse and committed agencies affiliated with Lake Merced. Ultimately it was determined that a temporary art installation would not be viable considering all variables: political, economic, ecological, and sociological. The conceptual process is however preserved on these pages.
